As the nights draw in and the temperatures continue to drop, things just get hot and hotter at EGG as they invite Nick Curly, Audiofly, Stacey Pullen and Los Suruba to the club on November 8th.
It’s been a busy year for Nick Curly. The DJ and producer, who hails from Mannheim, has decided to put one of his labels, Cecile, on hiatus after it celebrated 5 years of operation recently. As such, he will instead place much more focus on his other label, 8Bit Records. Also recently he has released his latest official mix CD. Called In The House, it comes on much respected UK label Defected and follows on from efforts by Loco Dice. Across two CDs Nick showcases the DJ skills that have seen him booked all over the world in recent times, from Ushuaia in Ibiza to Watergate in Berlin. His own Trust party brand also debuted at WMC so Nick Curly has never been more in demand than he is now.
Audiofly is the duo of Luca Saporito and Anthony Middleton. They met and started working together in the spring of 2002 and immediately started a prolific partnership based on their shared music styles and experiences on the DJ circuit. Their combined talents have created a powerful, experimental and original style - deadly, dirty, jackin, tech meets electronic house – that has made them firm favorites around the world. Their Flying Circus night is also one of the crazy highlights of any summer season in Ibiza and it returned in style once again in 2014.
Detroit’s Stacey Pullen is a veteran DJ, producer and label boss who has had something of a resurgence in recent years, especially in Europe where rarely a weekend goes by without him headlining some club or other. Much of the music Stacey produces, which is built on sturdy techno drums but comes infused with a serene sense of future soul, gets released on his own Blackflag Recordings, but so too do breakthrough artists like Paco Maroto and Elio Riso also contribute and he is a fine talent indeed.
Spanish duo and label bosses Los Suruba complete this party with their fiery back of tech house tricks.
