Because everyone hates the end of summer and the Ibiza season, EGG are taking care of those early winter blues with a special Ibiza workers reunion party on October 10th. Headlining are wAFF, Mike Mago and Him_Self_Her for this special event.
After impressing so much on New Year’s Eve, wAFF is back once again to London’s foremost club. Still in his early twenties and having been picked out as one to watch by DJ Mag at the start of 2013, wAFF is still very much in the ascendency with several releases on Hot Creations already under his belt and many more still to come. He is also releasing plenty of steely techno weapons on the legendary Cocoon and is in huge demand at festivals and clubs all over the world.
Every major city around the world has that one guy, who's always on top of the freshest sounds and most cutting edge records. Enter Michiel Thomassen, professionally known as Mike Mago, who as label head honcho of Amsterdam-based BMKLTSCH RCRDS has been curating what's hot and what's not from Dutch soil and beyond for several years now. Releasing on labels like Ministry of Sound and with support from big hitters like Mark Knight, Mike really is a talent to behold.
Him_self_her are a house act with a big current buzz and following, with support from the likes of Pete Tong, Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, Solomun, H.O.S.H, Lee Foss, and Sandy Rivera. Always one to eye emerging talent Damian Lazarus has signed the pair to Crosstown Rebels, and the production duo from Leicester are currently taking the scene by storm. Perhaps best known for their release 'Gone Too Long' on Cream Couture records in 2012, the track spent 11 weeks at No 1 in the Beatport New Disco chart, and spent a mind blowing 7 months in the top 10.
