Bucking the trend for frivolous themes and dress codes, Oval Space is sticking to what it does best this Halloween by delivering a straight up, no frills, high quality line up for all the techno purists out there. The bar for the night will be set by headliners Lenny and Lawrence Burden, aka Octave One, aka Detroit techno pioneers at the forefront of the ‘second wave’ alongside the likes of Carl Craig and Jay Denham. Notorious hardware lovers, the Burdens will be bringing their formidable live set up which includes a heady combination of samplers, sequencers and synthesisers with over 10 separate units from Akai, Elektron, Korg, Nord & Roland to the Oval Space stage.
Joining them will be prolific DJ and producer Cosmin TRG, who has released on an enviable roster of labels including 50 Weapons, Hessle Audio, Bpitch Control, !K7 and who is touted by RA as being ‘one of dance music’s ubiquitous figures’. Berghain resident and rising Ostgut Ton star Answer Code Request and Ukranine’s Vakula round off our Halloween bill.
