Celebrating 12 Years of Drum & Bass in Toronto in one of the worlds most famous clubs...possibly for one last time!
What a hell of a ride! When we started SIM, it was to promote our love for the soulful side of Drum & Bass. Over the last 12 years we've grown in ways we never could have predicted! We expanded to showcase all styles of DnB, with the idea of bringing in talent that we felt was ahead of the curve and innovating in ways that pushed DnB to new levels. For us, it's never been about who was the most popular, its always been about who was doing it better than anyone … for us, the music comes first, PERIOD!
For our Anniversary show we've brought in arguably the biggest producer in DnB, as well as an act that we helped break in North America, who went on to international success with their unique and vibrant sound. On Friday October 10th, 2014, We present S.P.Y. from Hospital Records and The Brookes Brothers from Viper Recordings. If that wasn't enough, we're putting it in one of the top nightclubs in the world, for what is probably the last DnB performance that will ever happen at The Guvernment before they close their doors at the end of the year.
This show is not only our Anniversary, it's a call to all dnb, jungle and bass music heads to bring the vibes like only a Toronto crowd can. We're here to shake the city to the core and to prove that DnB is the best music on earth.
