  • Jesse Boykins Jesse Boykins III is a singer / songwriter with a timeless sound. He is the creator of a new approach to music he calls “World Soul” in which he shares a point of view that crosses all genres, generations and cultures. In early 2008, Jesse Boykins III released his debut EP Dopamine: My Life On My Back, a soulful narrative covering a range of emotions from infatuation to lust to obsession with love and the pain of love lost. His follow-up release The Beauty Created, a critically-acclaimed LP soon followed. The album boasts an unabashed admiration of romance intertwined with Jesse’s organic tone, innovative sound and live instrumentation. 2011’s Way of a Wayfarer EP explores with even more depth the spiritual journey of the artist. While other collaborations with the likes of MachineDrum, Foreign Exchange, Theophilus London, Sinden, and Full Crate expanded his sound into new territory, he has kept up a steady pace of touring and partnerships, notably with Red Bull, Nike, and Apple. Following the success of last year’s Zulu Guru, a collaborative effort with New York artist and fellow visionary MeLo-X, Jesse introduces P.O.P. [people or purpose]. An Ep with both cover songs and originals which embody Jesse’s ideology of a good “pop” song. Soft Touch Currently, Jesse Boykins III is gearing up for the release of his new album Love Apparatus out April 22, 2014. The highly anticipated album features lauded singles “Plain” and “Show Me Who You Are,” which have received acclaim from the likes of Esquire, Noisey, VIBE, Okayplayer and more. Morgan Z and Mark Palgy met in the summer of 2012 and began a production duo. The goal was to encompass house, disco and R&B, and not be stuck in one genre. They wanted to be able to freely experiment with whatever felt right and fun at the moment, whether it's a laidback summery house jam, or a throwback 90s dance tune. Soft Glas Born Joao Gonzalez, Soft Glas' productions reflect a lifetime of musical influence. The son of Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and composer Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Joao grew up exposed to a rich selection of sounds throughout his childhood. As he developed his own interests in music, he explored various styles before finding his niche in electronic productions. Here, he says, he can create an amalgamation of all his musical and visual inspirations. “It is a genre where I can explore sounds in more ways than the norm. I can take a water drop sample and make a drum out of it. That’s the appeal.” Always dynamic and unpredictable, Joao has lent his talent to projects with the likes of Jesse Boykins III, After The Smoke, Oska Faro, Chargaux, Tiffany Gia, Luke Pickett and more.
