Snap Crackle and Pop is London’s most innovative and forward-thinking club night. In the time since it’s inception just under two years ago it has progressed from hosting exclusive, underground parties around the bars and clubs of east London to providing a platform for some of the world’s most bourgeoning D.J talent to showcase their unique sounds. Over the last six months the array of acts that has featured on bills put together by the Snap Crackle and Pop collective has combined commercial success with a commtiment to be at the forefront of unearthing up and coming talent. Previous coups for Snap Crackle and Pop inlcude booking Crookers to play their first birthday party aswell as hosting The Bloody Beetroots first ever U.K gig. Mr. Oizo, Duke Dumont, Kavinsky and D.J’s from Ed Banger Records have also headlined Snap Crackle and Pop events and bands including Reverend and the Makers, Ghost Frequency and The Cazals have appeared at their live music centric events. Snap Crackle and Pop’s position at the forefront of club promotion in London is cemented by the relationship they have nurtured with some of the capital’s most respected and critically acclaimed clubs and promoters including Wet Yourself, Deadly Rhythm, Nuke Them All and Long Leave.
Snap Crackle and Pop’s Warehouse Party at Hearn Street Car Park on October 17th 2008 is to act as a showcase of the progress the brand has made over the last year. The 1.200 capacity venue will play host to two of Dirtybird Records biggest stars; co-headliners Style of Eye and Justin Martin. This event will be the only U.K gig that Style of Eye plays this year and Justin Martin appears fresh from headlining Fabric and appearing with labelmate Claude von Stroke at the first U.K Dirtybird Records party at Unit 7. Support will be provided by the much feted Mowgli, immensely popular on the most cutting edge dance music blogs and Peter Pixzel, resident of Wet Yourself, London’s most diverse after hours party.
