On November 14th we invite you to join us for our final shindig of 2014 - a stripped back intimate evening of high-grade audio satisfaction with some of our favourite artistes.
First up we have NYC stalwart Milo Johnson aka DJ NATURE. Nourished from his early days in New York by a hearty diet of Larry Levan, Louie Vega and Tony Humphries, we’re mightily humbled to be able to bring his signature blend of raw independent disco, jazz fusion and early house to the Corsica arches for an extended set.
Next up we feel extremely lucky to present Mindtours and Free Rotation co-founders STEEVIO & SUZYBEE live. From behind a behemoth of modular synth stacks and betwixt the mass of cables one man summons bumping, twisting and ethereal house and techno rhythms while mere feet away his partner in life and sound fashions and shapes visual accompaniment in real-time. Not only exceptional creatively, the pair’s core values and uncompromising vision are a real inspiration and without doubt why Free Rotation remains unparalleled in atmosphere, intimacy, vibe and (of course) their staggering line-ups.
And joining them doing his live thing will be Spectral Sound/Perlon affiliate and another Free Rotation stalwart Alan Abrahams aka PORTABLE aka BODYCODE. Expect the warmest grooves, heady atmospherics, intricate textures and sultry vocals from the Berlin-based virtuoso. Beats for the body and melody for the soul.
