Good Feelings No.1 w/ Mark Grusane (Chicago, U.S.A)
Mark Grusane has been perfecting his musical taste, collection, and style for a little over a quarter of a century. Living in Chicago, with some of the most influential house, disco, and soul DJs. Like any kid, Mark desired credit from the the older doods. As a young teenager, he would spend most of his free time finding records for his older brother and other DJs. Always assuming that Mark wouldn’t be able to find a particularly rare record they wanted, the surprise would always satisfy, so much so that Mark began to flex his muscles a bit, showing them music they didn’t even know they wanted! With all this time spent digging records, you can imagine the types of records Mark would stumble upon in Chicago, the birthplace of many incredible grooves. This led Mark on a journey of finding music that has yet to be heard, yet to be discovered, he began surprising some of the deepest DJs with his finds, leading him to a life devoted to music that suites his unique persona.
After consistently supplying DJs locally and globally, Mark decided to open the infamous Mr.Peabody’s Record store with another one of Chicago finest diggers, Mike Cole. Although the shop has recently closed, Mark continues to check off his and many, many DJ’s want list.

Good Feelings is a new series of events that will take place nine times a year on long weekend Sundays. Each Sunday we’ll bring one of our favourite selectors from Planet Earth to Vancouver, BC for an extended session. One DJ, all night long. That’s it, that’s all!
Expect expertly crafted sets that touch on the obscure and deeper side of disco, boogie, and house music from some of the world’s finest diggers, producers, and selectors.
