Red Bull Music Academy Weekender returns to the Swedish capital with a smashing weekend festival at Stockholm's iconic concert theater, Södra Teatern. On October 31st and November 1st, RBMA will host conceptual performances, shows, and in-depth seminars featuring the likes of Todd Terje, Mad Professor, Gnučči, Federation Sound, Redshape and many more.
The eclectic lineup of this year's RBMA Weekender Stockholm includes Oslo's house, disco and edit gourmand Todd Terje, electronic music producers Radio Slave and Cagedbaby together as Matom, exuberant vocalist Gnučči, dub legend Mad Professor, NYC's reggae force Federation Sound, Detroit's technosoul dons Octave One, d&b dream team Ivy Lab, Stockholm's Masse AKA the Salazar Brothers, tropical rave outfit Alo Wala, and techno’s own masked man, Redshape. Among the past RBMA participants we’ve asked to join us? Dutch low-end modernist Krampfhaft, Stockholm's Kornél Kovács along with his premium house crew Studio Barnhus, Utrecht's own Nuno Dos Santos, bass-heavy techno persuader Cosmin TRG and Ekstasea man André Laos.
In 2013, Red Bull Music Academy Weekender touched down in Stockholm for the first time. A weekend extravaganza that spread music throughout the entire city, the festivities attracted more than 10,000 enthusiast and afficionados. International and local artists performed around the clock and took part in public seminars in and around the Swedish Capital. This year, over 60 artists will be performing at seven different stages under the same roof, all at Stockholm's Södra Teatern.
