- Imagine to be in Rio de Janeiro or Venice and get your craziest masks and fancy dresses ready as the Carnival party of the year is coming up… To continue this series of amazing parties we have invited a special guest from SlapFunk Records and we are sure he’s gonna make you dance your craziest moves. He’ll be joined by Simone Angellotti from op : um (IT) and our residents djs Stefania Matuella and Zucchi & Nico Bada. --------------------------------------------------- LOCKLEAD (SLAPFUNK RECORDS) --------------------------------------------------- Locklead also known as Wesley Endeman is a 25-year-old house music producer and DJ based in the city of Utrecht. Grew up in a little village called Nijverdal near Zwolle mostly listening to motown, funk, soul and hiphop. Around 2011 he got in touch with underground (illegal) house and techno party’s around Zwolle. It were exactly those times which made him reveal his vision of house music mostly to himself and then he started experimenting with some samples in a program called Fruityloops. After months of experimenting and practicing on producing he released his first EP, this was back in july 2013. After that he put op some free downloads and started sending out promo’s to other DJ’s and the support he received was huge. Just recently he competed in the King of the Beat battle together with 40 other producers. In 1 hour he created with a limited sample pack the winning beat. He was unanimous chosen by highly respected names in the scene. The judges were Benny Rodrigues, Gerd and Serge the owner from Clone Records Rotterdam.
