- Sónar Reykjavík moves closer to its 3rd festival following the huge success of its previous two editions. It will be held on 12, 13 and 14 February across 5 stages at the extraordinary Harpa auditorium, in front of the cityʼs port. The line-up includes 68 performances, including leading international artists such as the revolutionary young Los Angeles producer Skrillex, performing for the first time in Iceland; Paul Kalkbrenner, one of todayʼs iconic German techno figures; Nordic King of cosmic disco Todd Terje; Russian dj of repute Nina Kraviz; and sound wizard Jamie xx of band The xx, one of the world's finest selectors of house music. Among the leading Icelandic artists who will perform are female trio Samaris, digital folk producer Sing Fang, the experienced and charismatic Mugison, power noise artist AMFJ and Bedroom Community label co-founder Valgeir Sigurdsson, among many others.
