Last time BOOKWORMS played a Lost Soul party, it was at Wreck Room, and the subwoofer had already been burnt up, so he played through these two JBLs that kept glowing like demon skulls because they were clipping so hard. We're excited to have him back a second time.
Montreal's PAUL TRAFFORD has been making some considerable noise on the scene there with his Psychic Driving parties. He's also a resident for the top-notch Forbidden Planet label and has recently shared the booth with some fancy big-time DJs. He's got a deep collection of records and is known for epic 3+ hr sets, so expect to be jackin to some rare and exotic selections.
We're also welcoming VOLVOX behind the decks, and this will be her third (?) time at Lost Soul...you all know the deal from her massive Jack Dept parties at Bossa. She destroys it every single time and that's that.
Forreal though, STALLONE LE REDUCER might be the most exciting NYC live hardware act who doesn't have a record out. Hopefully we can remedy that soon. Until then, you've just gotta come check it out for yourself. It's electro, it's nasty and weird, so just go ahead and try it.
There will also be some brand new projections by IVY MEADOWS, who's doing so many cool things with her Perfect Wave imprint it's hard to keep up!
And as always your hosts R GAMBLE and PERSONATOR will be holding it down in the early hours, mixing choice vinyl with a few as-yet-unreleased tracks from the Lost Soul family.
