RiskSoundSystem are the trio of Mike Richters, Chocolate Brown and John Agesilas. These guys have held an unwavering belief into the power of house music since the early 90s. With high profile tracks such as This Sound Is Yours and Closer doing the business for all the top jocks, these guys know how to make their signature sound in the studio as well. Incidentally, 2014 marked 20 Years Of Club Risk, and the boys have celebrated with a series of large-scale celebratory gigs such as OWAP at Gashouder, Pacha festival, Boothstock, Valitfest, Soul Heaven ADE party and a beach party on the White Isle of Ibiza. This is a rare opportunity to see the boys in action in an intimate environment. A set up of live DJ complemented by simultaneous effects on the laptop see the Risk boys turn in an energetic sound which will rock the floor. British DJ Paul Sparkes will grace the decks on the night. With another strong year behind him, this experienced jock sees his last gig of 2014 as being one to remember. With his Into Ya Speakers still doing the business on Lucien Foort's Rotterdam-based Multitracks Deep recordings, Sparkes has shown prolific studio skills over the last few months. His Need To Move EP is now out on Tokyo Red recordings and can be purchased via Traxsource.
For this special edition we look forward to welcoming back Jerry van Schie. Jerry is a consistent performer who is genuinely taking things to the next level in 2014. His versatility to turn in solid peak time sets, closing the night as well as opening the night have seen him become a capable and quality performer for Floorplay.
