- One of dance music’s most influential and important figureheads, we're delighted to announce Skream as XOYO’s first resident of 2015. Skream’s path through clubland and its genres has taken him on an unexpected journey; from his beginnings at Big Apple Records to topping the charts as part of Magnetic Man and holding down Radio 1 residencies, he’s the poster boy for contemporary British music. An undisputed icon of the techno world, Robert Hood’s path to stardom began as a member of the hugely influential Underground Resistance crew from Detroit along with Jeff Mills. Since then he has gone on a solo mission to celebrate the art of Detroit techno, and has recently turned his hand to gospel and house, with them coming together to exceptional effect under his Floorplan project last year. Just listen to ‘Baby, Baby’ or ‘Never Grow Old’ if you need convincing. Completing the techno orientated line up is experienced UK campaigner Mark Broom and young gun Evan Baggs from the Big Apple who now calls Berlin home.
