Jaga Jazzist celebrate a special 20th anniversary show with support from Dorian Concept
Jaga Jazzist have become something of a musical phenomenon in Norway since they started out… Soundcrash are excited to announce a very special live show celebrating Jaga Jazzist‘s 20th anniversary in music at the stunning Union Chapel with support from Dorian Concept 29th November 2014.
With a hefty arsenal that includes trumpet, trombone, electric guitars, bass, tuba, bass clarinet, saxes, keyboards, vibraphone and a rack of electronics, Jaga Jazzist create timeless music. Regarded as one of the most exciting and innovative 9 piece band’s in Norway, the band’s strong involvement with individual different projects, and different musical styles and sounds has been the key over the last 20 years to the unique sound of Jaga Jazzist.
At heart of this collective is a restless soul, going in many directions at the same time, but always going forward. Fast. The band always pushing their boundaries, both personal and musical. That is why they are impossible to categorize. And that’s why they’re special. Jaga is something natural and beautiful.
Joining the line up is another special Ninja Tune live act; Dorian Concept. Following the latest release of his ‘Joined Ends‘ album and playing to a massive KOKO crowd as part of Dorian Concept Trio project, we’re very excited to have him back and play what is sure to be another very special performance!
