- Strap on your dancing shoes and grab a cold one because the FUNK REMEDY crew makes its return to Parkdale's Salvador Darling on FRIDAY DEC 12th, 2014. For this one we decided to do something special so we invited funky house master Mike Gleeson from Bounce House to join us. He accepted. We are stoked and you should be too. The FUNK REMEDY party series takes a more multi-genre, multi-tempo approach to a night out dancing. Showcasing the very best in ghetto, funk, disco, house and breakbeat sounds and DJ's. Expect to hear hard to find re-edits, smash ups and remixes from many musical genres that fuse the old school and the new school as one. All of it decidedly FUNKY. No repetitive "EDM" all night long just good old/new school fashioned party music to get that booty moving.
