It's hard to imagine techno without Token Records. Since 2007 the label has established itself as a major part of the international scene, launching the careers of Ø [Phase], Ctrls, Inigo Kennedy and more, and with outstanding appearances from Robert Hood, Rødhåd, Mark Broom [Official], and Surgeon amongst others. With an equal focus on intricate design and thumping bass, Token Records have helped to redefine the techno sound on a large scale.
The Public Works Department is proud to welcome the head of Token Records, Kr!z, to showcase this brand of techno. Regularly performing at major techno institutions including Berghain, Tresor, Kozzmozz, Fuse and more, Kr!z is a DJ's DJ, combining his outstanding ear for tunes with super tight mixing and cuts and scratches reminiscent of Dave Clarke in his heyday.
