Needing little introduction to the VIVa faithful, or indeed anyone with even a passing interest in House and Techno over the past 10 years, Steve Lawler will once again play a huge 3 hour set on the Terrace with support from his talented crew of Warriors who have been making waves worldwide with their trademark and firmly dance-floor focused sounds.
The 2 VIVa parties at Studio 338 during 2014 were not only the most successful, but also the most talked about events to hit the city in sometime. However, never ones to rest on their laurels, VIVa have upped the bar once again and brought along two very special guests to take things to a whole new level for 2015
Mathew Jonson - Undoubtedly one of the most iconic producers in the history of Techno. A man who has that rare gift for creating music which you recognise as his own from the first bar. His discography reads like a who's who of the worlds seminal and iconic labels, with releases on Cocoon, M-nus, Perlon and his own Wagon Repair. Decompression, Marionette, Learning to Fly....Mathew is responsible for some of the most moving, original and beautiful pieces of electronic music of all time and it is with great excitement that we look forward to welcoming him to the 338 Terrace!
Livio & Roby - Hailing from that primordial soup of leftfield, underground house music that is modern day Romania, Livio & Roby stand out as some of the most prolific and successful of their many talented countrymen. Also known as 'Premiesku' (alongside the third member of that outfit, George G) when playing live, as 'Livio & Roby' the pair have released on some of the worlds most influential labels such as Loco Dice's Desolat, Nic Fanciuili's Saved and of course our beloved VIVa. We couldn't wish for a more perfect selection to set the foundations for a very memorable night
This is one of those times when all the moons align and the gods of dance deem to give us the perfect occasion to worship at the alter of super high quality House and Techno.
