Dopo aver trascorso i primi anni di vita nella città siberiana di Irkutsk, Nina si trasferisce a Mosca e si immerge nella scena musicale. Inizia a produrre musica nel 2008 e nel 2009 esce con "Voices" su Underground Quality (di Jus-Ed). La sua seconda uscita "First Time Ep" sempre su UQ raccoglie consensi da DJ e stampa, con un punteggio di 4.5/5 da parte di Resident Advisor. Nello stesso anno la svolta con la hit "Pain In The Ass" su Rekids, con "I'm Gonna Get You" in B side. Collabora anche con Efdemin per l'uscita "Hotter Than July/Sun" sulla sua Naif label. Dal 2010 Nina inizia a girare per tutti i club più importanti del mondo, con il suo miscuglio unico e crudo di House, Techno, Acid e rarità. L'anno successivo esce il suo secondo singolo, insieme ad una collaborazione con Sascha Funke su BPitch Control e al remix di "Scream" di Okain. La sua seconda release "I'm Week", un approccio unico alla House music, viene accolta anche dalle radio. L'album "Nina Kraviz" esce poi a febbraio 2012 con grande acclamazione di critica per canzoni quali "Ghetto Kraviz", "Aus" e "Taxi Talk". Resident Advisor ha sintetizzato la risposta dicendo: "Semplicemente, se Nina Kraviz è stato il debutto più atteso dell'anno, possiamo dire che è stata all'altezza di questo piccolo furore". Nel 2015 Nina ritorna a fare breccia con il suo DJ Kicks per la prestigiosa !K7 dopo anni di successi di dancefloor in tutto il mondo.
Nina Kraviz is currently the name on everyone's lips in the house and techno community. After spending her childhood in the Siberian city of Irkutsk, Nina moved to Moscow and gradually found herself more involved in the local scene. She began producing music in 2008, and before long had her first release 'Voices' on the Underground Quality imprint in 2009. Her second release on UQ 'First Time EP' had great support from DJs and press alike, receiving 4.5/5 from Resident Advisor. In the same year she had her 'breakthrough' hit on Rekids, 'Pain In The Ass', featuring the arguably more successful 'I'm Gonna Get You' on the B Side. She also collaborated with Efdemin for their release 'Hotter Than July / Sun' on his Naif label. The gigs started to come thick and fast, and by the end of 2010, Nina could claim to have played the major clubs across the globe – mixing her unique raw blend of House, Techno, Acid and rare goodies, much to the punters' delight.
In 2011 Nina released her second single on Naif, as well as a collaboration with Sascha Funke on BPitch Control and the well received remix of Okain's 'Scream' on Tsuba. Rekids was also proud to present her second release with us in the form of 'I'm Week' – a truly unique take on House music, that translates just as well on radio without compromising its integrity. Nina’s eponymously titled debut album ‘Nina Kraviz’ was released on Rekids in February 2012 to wide critical acclaim, with standout tracks like ‘Ghetto Kraviz’, ‘Aus’ and ‘Taxi Talk’ receiving plaudits from all the major media titles.
Resident Advisor summed up the overwhelming response to the album,saying:
“Simply put, if Nina Kraviz was one of the year's most hotly anticipated debuts, let's just say she lived up to that small furor”.
Nina is back in 2015 with her DJ KICKS for !K7 after a year of succesful dj touring around the world.
