- It’s pay day on Friday at the end of January – what are you going to do? Well Melting Pot have quite a show to offer you – Melting Pot with Motor City Drum Ensemble at Sub Club. Motor City Drum Ensemble is a unique kind of ensemble in that it consists of just one man : Simultaneously retro and futuristic German House pioneer Danilo Plessow. MCDE is without doubt one of the most in demand and revered acts on the circuit – having played all the main festivals, been a regular on the Boiler Room and even played a back to back set with Laurent Garnier. His DJ sets take in all genres from disco to house and techno – all seamlessly put together for a perfect party soundtrack. MCDE and Melting Pot DJs Andrew and Simon will be playing mostly vinyl and will be bringing along the vintage rotary UREi mixer, so expect the sound loud and crystal clear. This is not to be missed.
