In Room 1 it will be the usual Stevie Wonderland party vibes with our guest DJs and residents bringing you the finest Disco and Boogie all night long.
Headlining the party, we welcome Wolf Music producer and South Londoner, Medlar. Ever since 2011's 'Terrell', the influence of disco has been clear in Medlar's house productions. We want to hear more of this so we've invited Medlar along to dig into his disco collection for a very special set.
To keep the party going, we've invited the man behind one of our favourite labels, Ruf Kutz - Ruf Dug. Ruf's 'Dancers Wanted' night in Manchester is one of our favourite outside the capital and he's promised to gather up his ‘Bargain Bin Boogie Bombs’ to bring the heat to your feet for a special party set.
As the first guest at Floating Points’ You're a Melody night, you're in safe hands with our next DJ. His name is Red Greg and he'll be responsible for warming you up on the dancefloor.
In Room 2 we are very pleased to be welcoming Stevie's darker, disobedient, inebriated younger brother - Dark Funk. Fresh from their inaugural NYE party at Efes, Dark Funk are a new collective looking to take you on a journey through the brooding, mean and sexy, rhythmic rump-shaking sounds of high rise house, acid house, P Funk, G Funk, Minneapolis Funk, tough Italo and rare groove and are serious fun. We can’t wait for them to join us.
Joining them on the night will be Jon K. Jon K is a Stevie Wonderland favourite and he'll be reaching deep into his enviable bag of records to play a 'Jon K' disco set. Expect bangers, expect weirdness, experience greatness.
Dark Funk resident Saeta will be starting things off in Room 2. As previous residents at Stevie Wonderland, Michael Thomas and Nicholas Hadfield know what you guys like and will be bringing their unique immersive audio visual experience to provide a new atmospheric nightlife and sound
Dark Funk will also be bringing with them their iconic TPI Sound System. TPI provides high fidelity audio through a unique V-fronted 130 dispersion technique and is guaranteed to have the room shaking.
