Time flies by when your having fun. That might explain why it's hard to believe it's been 2 years since we threw our first "Four Sweaters" party on a chilly San Francisco night. On February 21st, 2015, we invite you to come celebrate our past, and future, with a birthday bash of truly wacky proportions. If you happened to attend our 1 year anniversary, you might recall that the party was a bit of Circus. Literally. Being the very traditional people we are, we decided to do it again for round two. Or better said, "Part Duex." WHY? because no one parties like a carnie! To guide us through the burning hula hoops, and past the balancing elephant, we will be bringing in the musical stylings of Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, and Marc Schneider. That being said, pull up your tights, smear on that face paint, and lets get weird.
Who's Who?
First up, we have Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, who's guaranteed to get the place feeling good. If you've never caught one of his his live sets, you are in for a real treat. While his first major release was in 2007, Guillaume has been in the scene for much longer, under many names, and in many groups. While his productions are top notch, it's how he performs his music live that really lets him shine. The sounds of jazz, the groove of house, and the energy of techno, his live set is not to be missed. Supporting Guillaume, we have someone who will have no problem taking the party to the next level. You've heard the term " a DJ's Dj" before, well that is exactly who Marc Schneider is. Hailing from Hamburg, Marc's day job at major distributors Container and Word and Sound, has given him access to virtually every worthwhile record for the last 20 years, and he's been using them the whole time. Playing all over europe, and considered a tastemaker by tastemaker's, it will be interesting to hear where Marc decides to take us. Hopefully he brings us back. Opening up the night will be your dynamic duo, and Four Sweaters founders, Bells & Whistles.
