Neon Noise Project presents Kitsune Maison

  • Neon Noise Project present Kitsune Maison, a one-of-a-kind event at seminal London venue, Heaven on Friday 21st November. As an exclusive event, it represents everything Kitsune and Neon Noise Project stands for – brilliantly-eclectic, forward-thinking and adventurous. The night will highlight what makes Kitsune the kind of label that attracts the likes of Hot Chip, Crystal Castles, Klaxons and more. Musically, the label have never seen any boundaries to what they do, skipping across genres and styles as they please, and being all the more exciting for it. In the main area, Digitalism will be heading up a great bill of DJs. Fresh from a recent sell-out show at London’s Astoria, this fantastic duo, the first band to sign to Kitsune, will be bringing their own unique take with a an electro blitz that will leave a blaze of smiles behind them. They will be joined by special guest Lightspeed Champion who will bring his brilliantly off-kilter record collection to an eager audience, and Kitsune founders Gildas & Masaya in a very rare UK performance. Live Autokratz take charge. They are part of the next wave of electronic duos. Incredibly exciting, and with the release of their new mini-album ‘Down And Out in London And Paris’ out now, they are sure to bring the party to Heaven. HEARTSREVOLUTION are the unstoppable creative force from New York. With their bright, Kate Morross visuals and inherent star quality, this DIY electro-punk duo will dazzle all that see them. And Magistrates are one of the latest signings to XL, and their razor sharp Prince-inspired funk will get the dancing started for sure. Beni and Punks Jump Up will be DJing also. Both are crucial to the Kitsune experience. Beni was one half of Riot In Belgium, and responsible for ‘La Musique’. Don’t miss him. Punks Jump Up have remixed everyone from Lykke Li to Man Like Me. Their DIY ethic has seen them establish themselves as some on the hottest DJs around. The basis of Neon Noise Project is lights, sound, colour and dance. It’s simple but glorious. They are warehouse party extraordinaires, staging irregular parties across east London, and now, with Kitsune, putting on one of their most ambitious events to date. Regular Neon Noise Project DJs JBAG aka Jerry Bouthier and Andrea Gorgerino will be appearing in the Ponystep room with Matthew Stone, Pippa Brooks, and Hanna Hanra. Together they bring the spirit of the now defunct legendary London clubnight Boombox (now Ponystep) to proceedings in Room 2. This adds yet another dimension, another blaze of colour to what will already be one of the nights of the year. Next door at The Island, they will be screening Neon Noise Project visual art, along with Kitsune artist videos, label artwork and guest screenings. It will be a multi-media affair that will highlight Kitsune’s broad interests, and how they straddle art, music, fashion and design.
