- We’re back !!!!! After a bit of a break over Christmas we are re-energized and ready to smash 2015. After the success of our last joint residents party with Deep Water Recordings towards the end of 2014 we simply couldn't resist throwing another one. This year Deep Water celebrate their 4th year in business and so have embarked on a UK wide tour to showcase their stuff, we at Playground are very excited and honored to be kicking off the opening show of this tour in our beloved whiskey jar basement. Expect nothing but the finest range of techno Manchester has to offer. Deep, minimal, Berlin, Detroit, Schranz and everything in between, you name it, we've got it, all under one roof. With a new and improved sound system as well as a few other surprises and upgrades the whiskey jar basement is more than ready to become our dark sweaty techno cave. We cant wait to see everyone again and blow the back doors off this intimate space. We will not be running tickets for this event we will simply charge on the door at the very reasonable price of £3.
