- One of Australia’s most esteemed bands, HTRK have just announced an intimate headline show at the Small Club in March with long time influencer/friend and very special guest Mika Vainio. Currently based in Berlin, Mika Vainio was one half of influential Finnish minimal electronic duo, Pan Sonic (the other half was Ilpo Väisänen). Before starting Pan Sonic in the beginning of the 1990s, Vainio played electronics and drums as part of the early Finnish industrial and noise scene in the 80’s. His remix of HTRK’s Poision is dark and minimalist and breathtaking. HTRK are one of Australia’s most innovative duo’s and their live show is always an emotive journey and every time they’ve packed out the Danceteria, get tickets early to avoid disappointment.
