Soapbox events continue to deliver after the announcement of Tiga headlining the Soapbox & Motorik Day Rave. This time bringing the Technical Jedi, James Zabiela back to Chinese Laundry for a 4 hour set.
James Zabiela is a rare breed of artist. Over the last 12 years he has become something of a heritage act despite still being 2 decades younger than his peers currently sharing that title, this, in part, is owing to his unrivalled technical abilities in his live performance which have cemented him into the hearts of electronic music lovers the world over.
James continues to push the boundaries of what can be done both in the studio and live on stage using custom made iPad’s and controllers.
Opening up new ideas and possibilities is what James is all about… indeed, with so much of his music being permeated by smart movie samples and cool cut-ups, the online world is his natural home…along with a label that showcases his ethos, Born Electric.
With new music and a new sound coming from starting Born Electric in 2012, James continuously delivers fresh music in a unique and energetic way.
