Celebrating 6 Years of THEM parties. In order to mark the occasion we bring a choice line up of heavyweight Techno and Electronic artists to put London’s best space and sound system to task.
We’re very pleased to present the return of Actress to Corsica Studios, an artist of distinction operating beyond the realms of normality, and a DJ who brings an atmosphere of unparalleled intensity, risk and excitement to his sets. Join his here in the mix for an extended set a fortnight before he releases an exclusive compilation for the DJ Kicks series.
Pleased also, to bring Turbo recording’s Clouds to Corsica Studios, as they debut their Live show to London, sure to be a special event. These boys are masterful dancefloor movers, makers of amongst some of our favourite tracks of recent years.
Joining them is Perc Trax’s Forward Strategy Group - a collaborative project between Bleaching Agent and Patrick Walker engaging in raw, thumping and beautifully textured Industrial techno. They bring a live performance to batter the Function one rig.
Killawatt steps up for the first time at a THEM event immediately following the release of his debut LP Émegre, this March. He arrives with a penchant for high-pressure sub frequencies and a hybrid Techno-Bass sound of industrial rhythm and room rumbling bass, which is a guaranteed rave blaster.
Representing a new generation of techno artists, London to Brighton based Metrist had storming releases last year on Resin and Fifth Wall. He reps a London ethic in his work, uncompromising tracks that often operate outside of 4/4 beat patterns. He appears alongside up and coming new talent Divided also from the Resin label who takes this idea even further and also introduces a classic electro ambience into his exciting palette of ideas.
