Simone White is the only singer-songwriter signed to Damon Albarn’s much-revered Honest Jon’s Records, a testament to her considerable and uncommon talent. Listening to her quietly beautiful voice, paired with lyrics at once personal and surreal, feels like hearing the last glimpse of a fading memory. Built upon a framework of traditional folk songwriting, White’s recent projects have notably embraced an experimental, electronic sound in their texture and soundscape, opening the door to a surprising and much-lauded collaboration with the enigmatic German producer Kassem Mosse. In live performance, the ephemeral and vulnerable nature of her music is without parallel, and we couldn’t be more excited to create a venue for that experience. This may not be traditional for us, but we promise it will be unforgettable.
Moon B is a producer we’ve had our eyes on for a while, having released a steady supply of quality music on some of our favorite labels. Warmed-up textures and lush melodies infuse Moon B’s brand of lo-fi house with the authentic, nostalgic groove that so many producers strive for yet so few achieve. With a bit of mood lighting and a polished dance floor, you won't be able to stop yourself from getting down, and we’ll be right there with you.
