- Time for something super special We are super proud, exciting and weeing in our pants a little to present the first ever Giegling records showcase in Sydney. Giegling is a German record label born out of a mutual passion of music from a collective of friends and producers who originally set out to throw parties in an abandoned building in Weimar for their friends. In 2008 their venue was demolished but the collective decided to continue the Giegling brand they had formed and began their own vinyl only label focusing on everything from ambient to hip hop to the deeper realms of house and techno. 2014 was a massive year for the label with albums and EPs from Kettenkarussell, Vril, Edward, Traumprinz and DJ Metatron, that left Resident Advisor with no option but to award it as their label of the year
