Alright everybody, let’s take it back to Zanzibar!
Saturday May 23rd sees the return of the Brooklyn, New York native and true House Master, JOVONN.
Hanging in and around clubs in New York, and New Jersey, at an early age influenced him a great deal as he himself started producing House, R&B and Neo-Soul. His sound is unmistakably his own. Heavy bass lines, jazzy chords, solid kicks and loose percussion characterise all productions he’s worked on. We welcome him back in Studio 80, where just over a year ago he tore the club apart. We’ve had plenty of time to rebuild it only for him to repeat last year’s madness!
Taking care of the warm up is Joël Hemmen, who’s vast knowledge of 90’s House will certainly complement the flow of the night. Alex Salvador and Daan Groeneveld have the honour of taking over control into late hours.
Studio 2 opens up once the party is steaming. Max Abysmal and Resolman will provide an alternative vibe for all you heads. Both these gentlemen are working on their own music and we’ve heard some pretty tasty demo’s through the grapevine… Young guns gearing up for musical genocide!
So come on down to Studio 80 for a full night of dancing and to support your heroes and local DJ’s.
