- We thought the last Until The Music Stops session was just a one-off. Long story short, Optimo are fulfilling the prophecy and starting a London residency. These boys should need little introduction. Optimo was founded at the Sub Club in Glasgow in 1997. Their legendary Sunday night sessions ran for more than a decade, giving the good people up there a chance to get weird to the likes of ESG, Whitehouse and Liquid Liquid. From the outset there has been one simple idea - when it comes to the tunes, the only genres that matter are the ones that make you move. For the first of three sessions this year, Keith & Jonnie take it right back to basics, playing all night on the Village Underground soundsystem. This sort of thing isn't rocket science so we're not going to be producing any concept videos or anything like that, just making sure we get the basics right. x
