NorthSide Crew and Royal House Society Mexico teams have been working uninterruptedly for over three years to bring you the top sounds for the most exigent ears in Mexico City and its surroundings. Three years is easy to say but it not easy to bring the top and most prestigious artists around the world to an unstable terrain like Mexico City.
For this occasion, the right person to bring was Nina Kraviz. We know WE ALL love her and there is nobody else that could make us any happier. Besides everyone’s favourite, EXOS, an enigmatic producer from Island who is also part of Nina’s new label трип (pronounced trip) will join her.
Kraviz was born and raise in Siberia. His father was a passionate music colector y she grew up listening to jazz music and psychedelic rock. By the end of the nineties decade she listened in the radio the classic acid track “Downfall” by Armando, after that she goes inspired and created her won radio show in the local radio, focusing on techno, house and IDM. Afterwards she moved to Moscu where she worked as a journalist for the magazine Ptuch. “That opened my mind into a huge diversity of music” says Nina.
How much you know about Nina? Well, she is a russian techno dj, a consummate producer and one of the most important revelations in the dance music scene from the past 5 years. Besides that, there is a more profound story behind her. She is one of the most enigmatic characters in the dance music scene, someone who’s maintain his musical integrity since the beginning of her career, with deep roots that go back in time even when she is a futuristic representation. Her unique sound is a rough mix between house and techno with an acid touch very characteristic in the dance music nowadays.
The waiting seems long, but we are about to enjoy a night that, for sure, will be remembered as a reference point inside the Mexican clubbing scene. The big room circuit is flooded with many dj’s that many times are not as good as expected. Nina makes honor to the hype around her, all the attention she gets it justified 100%. If you consider yourself a clubbing expert you have to see her at least once in your life.
The guys from DANCE YOUR NAME Allstars , a DYN soundsystem conformed by FINA (Fig+Toledano) y Francisco will be in charge of the warm up. The DYN crew has always been worried about getting the most futuristic sounds to make everybody dance, no matter if they have to search for it under the rocks. We know about his talent so we could’t think of any other artist to do the opening for this epic night.
