- In our belief the best way to honor Frankie is to celebrate him by continuing on his life's work and legacy. If you would like to donate, contribute a door prize to be given away on the night, or have any questions please email us at - [email protected] This is a free event, but there is a suggested donation of $5-10. Segafredo Mills Park will also be donating $1 from every drink sold to patrons with an event wristband. All of which will go towards the Frankie Knuckles Fund as a tribute donation in his memory - http://newyork.ejaf.org/in-memory-of-frankie-knuckles We will be giving away door prizes that include records, CDs, gift certificates, and services from Defected Records, Eighth Dimension Recordings, Lazy Afternoon Sundays, Finale Sessions, Michael King, Colorblind Campaign, Park Ave CD's, White Dog Recording, LL, and more. The selections on the night will not be reserved to Frankie's productions (although there will be some favorites) or classics (same), but we will be honoring him as we always have with forward thinking programming that reflects everything good about house music. During a secret warehouse gathering in the Fall of 2011 generations of house heads, musicians, and dancers founded what is now known as the Open House Conspiracy (OHC). Heavily rooted in a history of house culture and fused with new blood poised to carry these traditions forward into the future, our events capture a true timelessness. As we like to say, programming that spans across genres for a cross generational dance floor. Welcome to the conspiracy.
