International dj, innovative producer, founder of plink plonk, Shamen frontman and co owner of the end, Mr C emerged as a pioneering force in the house music scene in 1987 and has continued to be instrumental in the proliferation of dance music on a global scale.
His commitment to experimentation and credibility in setting the standards for sophistication in all sub-genres of dance music has earned him world-wide prestige as he endeavours to take the sounds of the underground to new and more accessible heights.
Mr.C runs and promotes Superfreq label & events, which will celebrate being 13 years old in March 2015. These events ran monthly at Mr.C's legendary club The End until it closed it's doors for good in January 2009 & still functions regularly in London, including a bi-annual residency at Fabric & the rest of the time hopping around London’s warehouse venues. Superfreq also does events at Hollywood’s hottest venue Sound in Los Angeles as well as undergrounds in its home city & monthly events in Calais France, as well as holding down regular events in Miami & Brooklyn. Superfreq also hosts annual residencies at La Santanera in Playa Del Carmen, various venues in Chicago & Junk Club in Southampton UK. This is on top of annual events in Russia, Ibiza, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco & other one of events the world over.
Superfreq has accomplished 7 successful seasons in Ibiza, 3 at Club Underground, 2 at the legendary DC10, 1 season at Blu & 3 events at Aura & regularly hosts events at BPM Festival Mexico & WMC Festival in Miami & will be hosting events in 2015 at BPM, WMC, DEMF, Sonar, Burning Man & ADE.
