As one of the co-founders of Hessle Audio, Ben UFO has been responsible, alongside Pearson Sound and Pangaea, for some of the most varied and ground breaking releases of recent years. Having become immersed in the still emerging dubstep scenes in London and Leeds in 2005, his musical taste was shaped primarily by the DMZ and Sub Dub nights taking place in those cities. However, as tastes have shifted and scenes have fragmented, Ben UFO's approach to the music and to Hessle Audio itself has developed.

London-based producer Midland aka Harry Agius first gained attention through his well received collaborations with Pearson Sound aka Ramadanman, released on Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint. Midland has also raised attention with his solo efforts for London’s Phonica and More Music, all sitting comfortably between dreamy deep house, soulful techno and UK bass-influenced sounds. Teaming up with like-minded producers such as Pariah and Ben Westbeech, alongside remixes for labels like Ninja Tune or Werk Discs, Midland proves to be yet another fine example of Leeds’ ever-growing club music scene. The man has DJ skills too, just check this mix recorded live at Fabric in London.

Honey Soundsystem, a DJ group created in the spirit of the legendary bay area crews, have been making their own scuff marks on todays dancefloors while spreading the gospel of SF's rich dance music history. A couple of years ago discaires, Ken Vulsion, Pee Play, Robot Hustle, Jason Kendig, and Josh Cheon, came together seeking to fill a void they saw in current gay nightlife. Each member, with many years of experience under his belt, watched as a revival of gay disco legends and queer house music producers were being celebrated by a new generation of dancers. Honey Soundsystem started throwing events bringing those old records and the excitement of new underground sounds back to a gay/mixed dancefloor. Honey started turning heads with their cunning ad campeigns, decadent themes, international guests, private warehouse parties and ofcourse their floor stomping DJ sets. The Mineshaft party was an evening dedicated to SF's high energy disco label Megatone Records of which Honey has been hard at work to release never before heard music from frisco disco legend Patrick Cowley.

ICEE HOT used to be a party and record label based in San Francisco with residents Low Limit, DJ Will Ghosts On Tape, Shawn Reynaldo. ICEE HOT died on January 25, 2015.
