secretsundaze & friends is a limited run of 5 winter parties at Scala taking place on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Taking over the 3 rooms we aim to involve different crews who are close to our heart's. Scala set in the heart of London’s Kings Cross promises to provide a great stomping ground with 3 rooms and its original period features. Joining Giles and James in Room 1 is Argy (Poker Flat). Argy's recent excellent "Focus On" album on Poker Flat displayed his maturity and love for a cross sections of sounds across the House / Techno spectrum working alongside the likes of The Mole, Jerome Sydenham and DJ Gregory. Also guesting and making his secretsundaze debut is Glimpse (Planet E). Over the last few years Chris has released on numerous quality labels such as his own Glimpse imprint, Four:Twenty and forthcoming, his debut on Carl Craig’s much lauded Planet E imprint with Carl Craig remix to boot. Although his sound is essentially Techno it comes with a healthy dose of soul and most of all displays an openess of mind to work with different styles. Just check out his recent smokey vocal track “We Existed” on Four:Twenty with Chaka Boom (Chaka Khan’s sister). Hosting Room 2 we are very excited to present one of our favourite House labels: Drum Poet Community, with Quarion - Live, Lexx and Alex Dallas on deck duties. The Zurich based label (a sub label of Compost) has deservedly gained much praise over the last few years with its excellent a&r policy releasing artists the ilk of Sascha Dive, Kawabata and Manuel Tur. This is their debut label night in the UK so come and show some love. Last up the ever reliable Disco Bloodbath boys take the controls on Room 3. Hold tight!
