The pulsating solo effort from electronic pop crooning man-child and Cut Copy bassist Ben Browning, finds Ben taking up the reigns once more for the release of his latest single ‘Make It Easy.’ It’s a bouncy and playful disco tune that continues where he left off on 2012’s Lover Motion EP and gives us a glimpse of what’s to come with his debut LP Turns which is due out later this year. For one night only, Ben will descend upon Cameo Gallery with a bag full of tracks to take you on a journey through the warmer and spacier sounds of the 80’s fused with contemporary pop and house music.

As a founding member of the world renowned dance-punk band, LCD Soundsystem and former member of Les Savy Fav, Pat Mahoney kept both groups in time as their staple drummer. But during those times one could also find him behind the decks with best friend, James Murphy. They had made a side career of DJing legendary parties and crafting perfect disco funk mixes like that of fabriclive 36 for London’s Fabric nightclub. These days he still travels the globe dropping mid-tempo balearic classics and obscure italo jams.

Lately he’s really set fire to the scene, including opening for Thom Yorke at PS1’s last Warm Up Event of the year and also mixing a guest set on Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space Radio. His Whatever/Whatever DJ moniker with Bryan Mette has always been a sure fire thing around town as well.
