Green Light is a symbol of how house music should be played at the right speed, the proper tempo and with that original feeling. Selected artists that share the same fundamentals and ethos will be hand picked to represent this vision. This is a night all about the groove. First up we welcome Andre Lodemann (Innervisions / Freerange / Best Works), Zaki (Diynamic / Suara / Muak Music), Jimi Mistry and Marco Marchesan.
Andre Lodemann
A DJ since the early 90ies, you can call Andre a Pro. He started to produce music in 2001 releasing 12" records and remixes on Innervisions, Moods n Grooves, Simple Records, G-Stone, Room with a View, Freerange, Buzzinfly etc. In 2009 he founded his own label Best Works Records together with an old college friend Daniel Best, a well-known music-promoter and impressario from Berlin. Here he released 12-inches like “Searchin” and “You Never Know”.
Andre Lodemann feels secure in both a warm deep house feeling as well as in a brisk techy vibe, not only in his productions but also behind the decks.
Zaki
Zaki is a man on a deep house mission. This mission, started out from a base in East London where Zaki grew up and still resides, has since led him on journeys across the globe to play, promote and produce the music he lives so passionately for.
Jimi Mistry
Best known for starring in Movies like "East is East", "the Guru" and "2012" Jimi has also been involved with music and Djing for many years… reaching back to the Halycon days of the Acid House scene in the late 80's. He has also recently completed his own music Documentary "and the beat goes on" which is about the birth of the dance music scene in Ibiza and which was released in spring 2010. These days as well as starring in movies, Jimi regularly DJ's in London & in Europe
