We are back at Corsica Studios after our summer hiatus to bring you into the Carnival Spirit for the best weekend of the year.
For this very special date we've lined up one of our most eclectic bills to date comprised of 4 headline artists from across the globe.
Hedlining we are delighted to welcome Yoruba Records boss Osunlade to the top of the bill. Osunlade's unique brand of deep soulful house has earned him fans all over the world during his 20 year career with releases on Sonar Kollektiv, Defected and most prominently Innervisions who released 'Envision' in 2011 which went on to become the anthem of the summer.
In support we welcome Jay Daniel to Corsica Studios to make his TV debut. Over the years the motor city has been heavily repped at Trouble Vision and ever since hearing Jay Daniel's debut release on Theo Parrish's Sound Signature, 'No Love Lost' back in 213 we've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to book him. And here it is! We cant wait.
Over in room 2 we're extremely excited to have Melbourne's Bell Towers holding down the peak time hours. In recent years Bell Towers has had releases on Full Pupp, Internasjonal and Ruff Kutz but its his releases on Public Possession which have really caught our attention. Expect Funk, Synth Pop, Acid workouts, Disco and a whole lot more. Do. Not. Miss.
Last but not least, we're really chuffed to welcome Gideon to Corsica Studios. Gideon is the man behind the now legendary Block9 field, originally at Glastonbury and now much further a field. Beyond this masterful curation Gideon also flexes his vast record collection of Northern Soul, Vintage Gospel, Reggae, Soul & Funk, Deep House, Acid House, Rare Groove and Disco on Soho Radio every Thursday night.
And there you have it! As ever our trusty residents Mr Solid Gold, Park Ranger and OK Jones will be filling in the gaps and with tickets starting at £5 you cant go wrong!
