Thugli (Canada, Mad Decent)
Both originally from Ottawa and now residing in Toronto, Drastik is a former RedBull Thre3style & DMC champiaon, whilst Wrecks is well know for his pop remixes & Juno nominated production, which even got him a spot on one of Kanye West’s mixtapes. The duo have collaborated with the likes of Grandtheft & CRNKN, whilst they’ve had official remixes out on labels including Fool’s Gold, Mad Decent, Dim Mak & Universal. Along the way, they’ve gained massive support from the likes of Diplo, A-Trak, Flosstradamus, Just Blaze, AraabMuzik, Zeds Dead, Benga & Australia's kewlest dj Nina Las Vegas. We have been obsessed with their remix of Diplo and GTA's Boy Oh Boy. Absolute tarp banger. Oh and that track they did with Grandtheft called Heavy Hittaz. Pure bliss.
Mitsunami
This guy is Melbourne's raddest Tarp producer that you haven't heard enough about yet. Trendyfriends approves of so much of his production especially his jam Ain't Real. The guy can dj the chrome off a towbar. We heard a truckie say that.
Get Bu$y
We at Trendyfriends love djs who understand how build a flow and yet still cover the range of genres that will please a kewl crowd. Get Bu$y is a human gps because he knows his way around a genre or two. We also heard a truckie say this once.
J.D.Mar
For someone who has been based in Melbourne for only 2 years J.D.Mar is now a part of Melbourne club life. He brings so many genres together and plays them all and just watch him dj he is great.
Braj
His beard is as good as his tunes. Probably the nicest guy in the Melbourne dj scene. Maybe a bit too generous though cuz he keeps giving the crowds exactly what they want: gewd timez.
Tranter
Fuck Tranter, you know who all about the pig dog by now. Sigh.
