Taking its name—and visual cues—from avant filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky's 1973 cult art film, The Holy Mountain, Ladyfag's Saturday night party is a visual and sonic buffet.
Held inside massive Chelsea club Slake, the party features 2 floors, 4 rooms and 1 mountain. Each room has its own vibe-y, color-oriented theme (the "Ruby Room," the "Jade Room," the "Sapphire Room," and the "Obsidian Room") and different hosts ("Goddesses," "Alchemists," "Night crawlers," and "Witches"), DJs and live performances by the likes of Crystal Waters, YG, O.T. Genasis, LE1F, Mess Kid, Michael Magnan, Honey Dijon, Kiesza and Rye Rye.
This month's edition, the number 9, will feature Karin Dreijer Andersson of Fever Ray and The Knife DJing in one of the smaller rooms upstairs, the Jade room.
