The House of flying Blades… Musica is extremely happy to extend a warm Sydney welcome to UK DJ/Producer Rowan Blades, from July 15 he will call Australia home.
Musica has the privilege of his first Australian gig, which will also double as a belated 31st birthday for Rowan.
Known to many as half of the successful ‘Breeder’ production duo, and responsible for many amazing tracks and most recently his collaboration with John Graham to produce Funky Summa. Rowan will be playing a huge 3 hour set in the main room with support by more talented Dj’s: Pete Farris, Tones (Tony Plowman) and Kane Bligh.
The Back room gets an extra dollop of craze this month, as we host the Monkey Tennis boys and Dj Adam Watson as “Mini Tennis”… you know this will be one hell of a party with these monkey’s serving it right, left and every which way!!
Before Musica opens @ 10pm, we have Rick Warner (FBI) spinning an indie set from 9 – 10pm for friends and family of the Musica crew. We would also like to extend this invitation to all Sydney Dj’s who would like to pop in for a quick drink and chat before they head out for another busy Saturday evening of playing.
There will also be more Musica mayhem with belly dancers, a jelly pool and if your lucky more midgets…
