Mr Nugget First started his musical journey as a teenage hip-hop dj in his hometown of Birmingham, UK. From there stemmed his love for entertaining which has helped him forge a long-standing career in music.
From gracing the microphone as a Garage MC with multiple UK chart toppers in the early 2000s. To recently accompanying Drum n Bass leaders Goldie and High Contrast at various festivals in the UK.
With family lineage to Bunny Wailer from the most famous reggae outfit of our generation ‘Bob Marley and the Wailers’ his Jamaican roots are ever present in his musical diversity.
Now a turntable veteran of 20 years, the London based dj has now earned a reputation as the penultimate Renaissance man. Having the ability to Dj, rap, mc and produce has enabled him to work alongside multiple artists, companies and fashion brands. From spinning the decks and hosting events across the globe –through to playing on a secluded islands in Asia and the US to thousands.
Having collaborated with multiple promoters pushing his Hot Yoga Music brand for many years. He has been fortunate to guest alongside some of the greats in House and Hip hop. Such as DJ Spinna and Ali Shaheed Muhammed from a Tribe Called Quest.
Production was always on the agenda, and all of his Tracks have reached the Traxsource top ten and 20 respectively.
Championed by the likes of Soul II Soul due to his second release entitled a Little Fire in 2009. He has since received critical acclaim from fellow house labels, djs and producers worldwide such Defected, MOS, MN2S and deep house aficionados, Tony Humphries, Louie Vega, Mr V plus many more.
Nugget has also provided numerous guest dj mixes for various radio stations, and online magazine based in Japan, New York, Europe and the UK.
Now currently producing under a new dance production outfit, we can expect even more great things from the man they call Mr Nugget,
