For this event we are joined by InTo Promotions who look after some of London's finest new talent.
Trapeze Club opened late March at 89 Great Eastern St, formerly the popular East Village offering the finest house, disco and more. The venue has two large rooms, upstairs has a bar vibe with a more relaxed music policy. Downstairs in the club its House all the way with one of the finest Funktion One systems in London.
CHARLES LIMA (Pacha Recordings)
Over the past few years New York City-based Producer and DJ Charles Lima has become the most popular Brazilian DJ in the United States.
Originally from Brazil but educated in the United States, Charles is an icon of electronic music not only because of his remix talent, but also because of his incomparable charisma and stage presence. An established fixture on the international party scene, Charles finds meaning and joy forming an intimate connection with the crowd, and this dynamic is what packs the dance floor.
A regular at America's most recognizable nightclubs, Charles is a resident at Greenhouse in New York City. Greenhouse, "one of the most luxurious night clubs in the world," is frequented by celebrities such as U2, Madonna, Rihanna, Al Gore, Bruce Willis, HSH Prince Albert ll of Monaco, Jodie Foster, Felicity Huffman, Mary-Kate Olsen, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Benicio Del Toro, Steven Soderberg, and other celebrities of similar caliber. Charles is also a resident at Skyroom and the legendary club Pacha NYC, where he made history drawing a record crowd in 2010.
NOIZDISCO
Noizdisco were born from London-based SWK Productions, run by Dale Hanson and Mike Harris, writers of hard-hitting white label dance tracks who then later manifested themselves as All Night Parties. In this guise they re-mixed tracks for many artists in their own unique ‘Radio Dance’ style, including Top 40 hit re-mixes of ‘Numb’ and ‘Choices’ for Honey Rider. They also produced two albums for world music act Modeste and re-mixed tracks for Caspar Pound, Cranium HF, The Storys, Paul Van Dyk and DJ Sammy.
They’ve been joined recently by New Yorker, Phil Pagano – a veteran sound engineer of the prestigious Bass Hits Studios in NYC. Phil has mixed and re-mixed tracks for Janet Jackson, Fat Joe, Bjork, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Pet Shop Boys and Louis Vega. He has worked with various re-mixers and production teams, including Basement Boys, Deep Dish, Junior Vasquez, Danny Teniglia, and Mood to Swing, and his sought-after live sound skills have contributed to international tours spanning a wide range of artists from The Bucketheads and Rob Halford of Judas Priest, to Nuyorican Soul, Tower of Power, Elements of Life, Allan Toussaint and Average White Band (to name but a few). Phil has worked on many Grammy-award winning albums and hit singles, including Ultra-Naté’s ‘Free’ and The Bucketheads’ ‘The Bomb’.
The final member of the group is Jo Griggs, a London-born singer who in 2013 toured the US in support of Sixties ‘British Invasion’ band The Zombies. Jo sang harmonies and played percussion for the supporting act, Et Tu Brucé, and caught the attention of Dale and Phil, who asked her to join Noizdisco as the featured singer. Jo’s contributions to the tracks are more than just powerful vocals and melodic harmonies, as she has also proven herself to be a talented vocal/musical arranger and lyricist, who has contributed greatly to the growth and development of Noizdisco.
