In this 5th Installment of SPOOR we are ecstatic to announce the return of THE DEEP END, bringing you a substantial array of furious techno beats all through the night. As per usual we'll be staying true to our signature while bringing a unique experience; intersecting music, lighting and video projection.

Rising from the belly of Old Hull, Mat plays a major role on the French side as one of the core members of the FAU MARDI and Resident DJ. His sound can be qualified as a dramatic arrangement of severe bass kicks as he layers high-and-wide-toned melodies with old school riffs that rise and fall with crisp, solid bass beats. Mat displays a unique & imaginative technical execution, bringing lifting sets that test your spirit and your definition of dance music.

Woerks (Elena Bales) is DJ/Producer who along with fellow DJ and friend DJM (David Mayer) is responsible for the rise of the monthly party called The Deep End, which features deep, dark and twisted UK and German influenced house and techno.
Formerly based in Berlin and Magdeburg, Germany, playing as part of the German-Canadian DJ duo Tadellos, Elena draws from her European digs with a slow, deep, dark and bass laden sound that is heavy yet playful.

DJ M (David Mayer) is a fast emerging local selector and a recent addition to the SPOOR family. ‘’M’’ plays a major as one of the founding members of The Deep End Project. He’s young, bold and deranged which comes to qualify his sets with a distinctive violent and round sound reminiscent of the early UK techno movement. Dropping beats from underground to upper ground this is one Dj you want to keep on your radar.

Sasha Vreca (SPOOR, FAU Collective)

This visual artist, filmmaker and animator has been an active player in the Ottawa/Gatineau night scene in the latest years. As one of the oldest standing members of the Fau Mardi Collective, Sasha has played a number of notable venues and spaced from Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. His work and practice focuses on the merger of audio visual components and 3D imagery with original 16mm film footage.
