Summer’s finally here and what better time to announce our next terrace party with two very special guests, Lakuti and Portable. Founders of the legendary Süd Electronic parties that were one of London’s most well respected and established underground nights for 10 years up until 2011, paving the way for the likes of Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide, this pair are the perfect candidates for our mid-summer terrace session. South African born DJ Lakuti infuses her sets with warm groove-ridden loops and soulful global sounds - the perfect soundtrack for our sun drenched terrace.
Native South African DJ Portable spent his formative years in Cape Town before relocating to London in 1997, where he started to create experimental, atmospheric music that linked the indigenous sounds of his youth and those first records whose futuristic aesthetic broadened his horizons. Expecting pulsating percussion, intricate rhythm sections and warm, nurturing vocals from his live set. Joining them both will be our trusty terrace stalwart Fritz Zander from Berlin.
