THE CLOSING EVENT, PRESENTED BY RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY
The festival’s last day will be presented by Red Bull Music Academy, which has been Dancity's partner for many years now cooperating in special events. For this tenth edition, RBMA will sponsor the festival's closing event, that will take place on Sunday, July 5, from 3 pm at a special, exclusive location: Scacciadiavoli Winery in Montefalco, just a short drive from Foligno. The winery, deep in the green Umbrian hills and surrounded by the prestigious Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso vineyard rows, will host performances as well as cocktails and wine tastings. Day 3's very special guest will be the legendary Roy Ayers, a key figure in acid jazz, known for the genre’s contaminations with Hip Hop and Funk elements, who will share all of his multifaceted talent in a unique live performance encompassing voice, vibraphone and other instruments. The American DJ/producer duo Soul Clap will also perform on day 3, with their experimental mixture of house, disco, funk and jazz references, as well as Jolly Mare, one of the Academy’s best talents, who will embark on a musical journey approaching different nuances of the dancefloor, such as Italo Disco, downtempo and funk-tinged synthpop.
