Music evokes memories. In an instant it can transport you to a time and a place in your life. For many Brisbane locals, Passion and Drop parties were the best times of our lives and the backdrops to some epic memorable nights.
10 years have passed since the 1st Passion boat party was hosted on the Lady Brisbane and it has also been a decade since Dan Marshall first played at the infamous Double Drop party.
To commemorate both these occasions, we would like to invite you in joining the Passion and Drop boys as we dust off some rust and hit center stage as a collective once more. We're getting the band back to together!
From presenting the likes of Danny Howells, James Holden, Funk DaVoid, Nathan Fake, Infusion, Phil K and Gab Oliver to Brisbane in the 2000's to playing at all the major dance music festivals in support of Sasha and Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Dave Seaman, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Derrick May, Lee Burridge, Trentemoller, Booka Shade and many more local and international acts; we hope to bring back some of the nostalgia from this defining period in Brisbane's dance scene to this once off event and showcase this to the next generation.
