We're going super techno this month at Studio 3AM. Los Angeles based MO7S recently wowed the crowd at December's edition of our sister night Pulse Generator, despite some technological DJ booth snafus. We're pleased to have him back up here to showcase exactly what this veteran DJ can really do with a fully armed and operational battle station. We are also excited to introduce BICEPTUALS, performing a live PA. Opening duties from 3AM Devices artist Indy Nyles.

MO7S ("mo-sevens"): New Hampshire born Stephen Manders spent most of his developmental years playing the rave and club circuit of the North East. His DJ sets defied genres in such tasteful ways, Avaland Boston would have him open for artists across the spectrum like Adam Beyer, Adam Freeland, Hybrid & John Digweed. Around 2004 he moved to LA where he would work for Avalon again in Hollywood, as well as putting in some time with Apple Inc. As the industry was changing he pursued a childhood passion of animation, where he worked on the production of Family Guy. This gave him the opportunity to start his own label, Monism Music in 2007. Continuing to dj on the side, he popped up at festivals across North America, including Evolve in Nova Scotia, Wakarusa in Arkansas & Burning Man in Nevada. In 2011, he was a National finalist on Season 2's Episode of Master Of The Mix hosted by Kid Carpi on BET. More recently, his DJ sets have been getting attention from across the globe and several remixes are due out on labels such as Sturdy Recordings, Evoked Music and of course, Monism. His dedication to the craft as a DJ, curator and producer is not to be overlooked.
BICEPTUALS are Renzo Gorrio (Hydroplane / Soft and Crispy) and Matthew Michael Ahern Hettich (Wake). When they aren’t busy flexing their sweet abs, they make IDM influenced hardware techno. Individually, they’ve performed alongside acts like Cylob, Machinedrum, Clark, Daedelus, and The Flashbulb. They release music solo and with other projects on labels like Circuitree Records, Proximal Records, & 3AM DEVICES.
INDY NYLES has been producing electronic music since 2009. Classically trained since the age of 4, Indy got a bright and early start on his music career, playing guitar in bands, and eventually spinning hip hop. Drawing upon these influences and inspiration from the Bay, Indy began playing techno in 2010 and he hasn’t looked back since. He describes his music as “Rhythmic Techno,” a rhythmic beat with hints of tech, hip-hoppy house and soulful, minimal vibez. He has released music on 3AM Devices, Tronic B7, Mode 33, RE-SET Audio, and his own soon to be launched label Important Jogger.
