  • After an exciting and exhausting start to 2015 that's seen clubland takeovers, festival frolics, the birth of Belter Skelter and the group's first Beatport release, NVWLS are returning to London for the first time since February and bringing an absolutely exceptional lineup with them. After gracing Stoke Newington last time out for a stellar session starring Auntie Flo, Tasker and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, for our first summer outing the action heads to Peckham as we bring together five fantastic acts from across the spectrum of electronic music for one late night session at the iconic Bussey Building. --ENDIAN-- Endian is the new house music project from George Levings, one half of the D&B outfit Commix. With releases on the seminal Electric Minds and Nonplus labels that explore Levings’ eclectic production style and numerous other projects in the pipeline for later this year, 2015 is sure to see Levings transcend firmly into the house music ether. Watch and listen. --JOSEY REBELLE-- Josey Rebelle likes to keep things simple: heavyweight selection first and foremost, coupled with the skills to lovingly blend it all together. It’s a formula that has seen her gain a solid reputation both in her native London and across the world. As well as DJing at clubs and festivals across the UK and internationally, Josey is a regular addition to the line-ups of some of the UK’s most respected nights and events, including Nonsense, Boiler Room (having played at the very first official Boiler Room broadcast back in 2010), Deviation and Rinse, and she has held down various residencies at London’s musical mecca Plastic People. Josey has also had mixes aired on BBC Radio 1 and seen several of her mixes and streamed DJ sets selected for annual ‘best of’ lists compiled by the likes of Boiler Room, Fact and Complex. While her club sets centre around house, techno and disco sounds old and new, Josey demonstrates the full spectrum of her musical knowledge – from rare groove right through to drum’n'bass – on her shows every Sunday on Rinse FM, one of the UK’s leading and most-respected underground radio stations. --REG NAYLOR-- Now based in London having left quite an impression in his native Leeds, promoter and self professed "dick jockey" Reg Naylor is swiftly becoming known for a mixing style defined by both expertise and personality. An alumnus of such party institutions as Rinse FM, the Nest and seminal Leeds mashup Bigger Than Barry, Reg has cut his teeth with the best in the business on his steady climb through the DJing ranks without ever compromising on either respect nor enthusiasm. Tasked with warming up the Bussey Building, we've no doubts our latest home will be given the spirited and technically astute christening it deserves. --SEVERN BEACH-- Severn Beach is the alter ego of Bristol-based house producer James Fox who's stock has been steadily rising since he released two EPs of his signature tough hypnotic house and techno for renowned Amsterdam imprint Audio Culture (the ‘Stitches’ EP and its follow up ‘We Continue’ EP) - both of which have won support from heavyweight DJs both old school and new, such as Mark Henning, Ben UFO, Midland, Dexter, Dark Sky and many others. A third EP for Audio Culture followed in 2014 among several other exciting projects, while 2015 now sees Sev hold down a residency at Leeds' KMAH Radio where he regularly demonstrates his ability to blend dancefloor tracks, both new and old. --SISTERHOOD-- Sisterhood is a new musical collaboration between Harry Benson and John Malcolm Moore. Their first EP releases through the newly formed ‘Tief Music’ label, which runs alongside the London club night of the same name. ‘Call Me Ishmael” has already received great support from a range of artists including Jus-Ed, Bicep, Dan Avery, Marcus Worgull, Tom Trago, Axel Boman & plenty more. As well as producing music together in their basement studio, the two spend considerable amounts of time in local record stores and are constantly on the look out for something different. The pair know each other’s vinyl collection extensively and have developed a versatile way of building a set; regardless the time of night or morning. ---------------------------------- About NVWLS: Founded in London but influenced by the exciting electronic music scenes thriving all over the country, NVWLS is dedicated to stripping the art of a good night out right down to the bare essentials: the music, the people, and the consonants. Working to bring you the finest selection of special guests, hidden gems and up-and-coming talents alongside a dedicated roster of residents, NVWLS promises a sound that stays fresh and engaging without ever losing sight of the dancefloor or the bodies moving on it. Expect a party that puts its people first, driven by an irresistible mix of house, techno, disco and shameless floorfillers from days gone by.
